A growing healthcare organization in Southeast Texas is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its expanding medical team.

The selected physician will provide comprehensive gastroenterology services across outpatient and inpatient settings while performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and liver disorders.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence programs
• Support continued growth of gastroenterology services
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency
• Completion of accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Active DEA registration or eligibility
• Strong clinical and procedural skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hospital-based, multispecialty group, or private practice experience
• Advanced endoscopy experience
• Interest in IBD, hepatology, pancreaticobiliary disease, or clinical program development
• Experience participating in quality improvement initiatives
