We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) to join our growing, patient-focused medical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with gastrointestinal and digestive disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions while performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Physicians with an interest in clinical program development, quality improvement, or subspecialty expertise are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities
Clinical Care:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and liver disorders.
Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services.
Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including:
Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
Colonoscopy
Flexible sigmoidoscopy
Additional GI procedures consistent with training and privileges
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs.
Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as appropriate.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
Collaboration & Quality:
Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Participate in scheduled call coverage.
Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety efforts, and clinical best practices.
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the gastroenterology service line.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
Active medical license in the practicing state or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience practicing in a hospital-based, multispecialty group, or private practice setting.
Interest in program development, clinical leadership, or quality improvement initiatives.
Additional expertise or interest in one or more of the following areas:
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
Hepatology
Advanced therapeutic endoscopy
Pancreaticobiliary disease
Commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous professional development.
