Start Date: 11/02/2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Contract Length: Ongoing (current approval through 04/01/2027)
Schedule: 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Call Required: Yes – Night call as scheduled
Coverage: Hospital privileges only; inpatient coverage
Clinical Details
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital
- Patient Population: Adults
- Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients per day
- Responsibilities: Inpatient rounding, new consults, GI procedures, and ERCP coverage
- Required Procedures: ERCP
- EMR: Epic
Support Staff
- Sole inpatient Gastroenterologist during assigned coverage
- Access to specialty consultants as needed
- Collaboration with outpatient GI colleagues for workflow support
Requirements
- MD/DO Gastroenterologist
- ERCP experience required
- ACLS required
- Must provide case logs demonstrating GI services performed within the past 24 months (or training logs if recently completed fellowship)
- State licensure assistance may be available depending on start date
