Locum Gastroenterology Opportunity
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide ongoing hospital-based coverage in a well-supported practice setting.
Position Details
- Specialty: Gastroenterology
- Practice Setting: 250-bed hospital
- Coverage Needed: Daily coverage
- Patient Population: Adult hospitalized patients
- Average Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
- EMR: EPIC & Provation
- Support Staff: APP support and dedicated endoscopy staff
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and management
- Perform EGD and colonoscopy procedures
- Evaluate and treat a variety of gastrointestinal conditions
- Collaborate with hospital staff and advanced practice providers to ensure quality patient care
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Comfortable with inpatient GI consults
- Proficient in EGD and colonoscopy procedures
- Active state license preferred
