Overview
A well-established, independent healthcare system in Southwest Florida is seeking a hospital-based Gastroenterologist to join its growing team in Naples. This is a full-time opportunity offering a 7 on / 7 off schedule within a high-quality, community-based health system that continues to expand its clinical programs, specialty services, research activity, and academic partnerships.
Position Highlights
Full-time, hospital-based Gastroenterology opportunity
Desirable 7 on / 7 off schedule
Afterhours Call: During 7 day stretch
Work at only one hospital
APP Support Monday - Friday
ERCP - Required
EUS- Preferred
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality inpatient Gastroenterology care
Support clinical excellence and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and administrative staff
Help develop efficient, effective clinical programs and workflows
Provide supervision and guidance to APPs practicing under physician direction, as applicable
Participate in strategic planning, operational development, and practice growth efforts
Serve as a clinical liaison with leadership and medical staff as needed
Assist with problem-solving related to patient care, staffing, and program operations
Participate in community outreach, education, and program visibility efforts when appropriate
Engage with payer-related and managed care processes as needed
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted medical license, or eligibility for licensure by start date.
Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
