Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens call-coverage position at Longview Regional Medical Center in Longview, Texas. This is a hospital-based role covering inpatient and ED consults and transfers. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: acute care hospital (Trauma Level III)
- Coverage: call-only, 24-hour on-call
- Responsibilities: inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers
- Special procedures: ERCP and EUS preferred
- Support: 1 PA, Monday-Friday
- EMR: Athena/MedHost
Job Responsibilities
See inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers.
Perform gastroenterology procedures; ERCP and EUS preferred.
Work with PA support and document in Athena/MedHost.
Qualifications
Active Texas license required.
DEA required; ACLS required.
ERCP and EUS experience preferred.
