Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a permanent position with ECU Health North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with shared call. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: hospital-based gastroenterology, inpatient and outpatient
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p; 36 hours of patient contact plus 4 hours admin time; shared call
- Procedures: colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, and EGDs (approximately 2-3 procedures per week)
- Support: 2 additional gastroenterologists and APP support
- Employment status: full-time, permanent
Job Responsibilities
Perform colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, and EGDs.
Maintain a Monday-Friday schedule with 36 hours patient contact and 4 hours admin time.
Collaborate with 2 additional gastroenterologists and APP support.
Qualifications
Proficiency in colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and EGD.
Active North Carolina license required.
