Job description
We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist for a Gastro Hospitalist locum tenens role in Spokane, Washington, split between Sacred Heart and Holy Family. This is an ongoing need due to a retirement, covering inpatient and outpatient GI. Please see below for more information.
- Gastro Hospitalist role at a Level 2 trauma center float pool
- Weekday coverage, Monday-Friday 8a-5p, no nights or weekends
- Inpatient and outpatient; ~5 patients per shift
- Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month (2 on / 2 off) if two providers, or full time
- Outpatient procedures welcomed
- Epic EMR
- Ongoing need until a perm provider is hired; potential to convert to permanent
Job Responsibilities
- Cover weekday shifts (Monday-Friday, 8a-5p)
- Care for ~5 patients per shift
- Perform outpatient GI procedures (welcomed)
- Cover across Sacred Heart and Holy Family
Qualifications
- GI Fellowship required
- Active Washington license or IMLC required
- DEA required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Epic EMR experience
