Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position in Bellingham, Washington. This is a clinic/endoscopy plus beeper role at an Acute Care Hospital covering both inpatient and outpatient GI, including ERCP. Please see below for more information.
- Acute Care Hospital, 251 beds, Adult Trauma Level II/III/IV
- Both clinic and hospital privileges; inpatient and outpatient
- 8-9 hour day shifts in ambulatory clinic/endoscopy setting and/or 24-hour call shifts (weekday and weekend)
- Rounding, admissions, consults, and inpatient/outpatient GI procedures
- Clinic ~16 patients/day; Outpatient Endoscopy Center 14-16/day
- Adult patients (18+)
- Epic EMR; Provation GI software preferred
- 6 month assignment
Job Responsibilities
- Cover ambulatory clinic and endoscopy setting
- Provide 24-hour call coverage (weekday and weekend)
- Rounding, admissions, and consults
- See ~16 clinic patients/day and 14-16 endoscopy patients/day
Qualifications
- ERCP required (documentation of at least 50 successful ERCP procedures in the past 2 years for maintenance)
- Washington license preferred; IMLC accepted
- ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
