Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a permanent position in Rochester, New York (temp-to-perm option available). This is primarily a Rochester General Hospital-based role with possible rotation to Unity Hospital (approximately 15 minutes away). Please see below for more information.
- 470-bed facility (Rochester General Hospital), Rochester Regional Health System
- Primarily RGH-based with possible rotation to Unity Hospital (~15 minutes away)
- General GI support for outpatient procedures including colonoscopies and EGDs
- Advanced procedural skills such as ERCP and EUS preferred but not required
- Epic EMR
- Experienced providers preferred; open to considering new fellows
Job Responsibilities
• Perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS (preferred but not required)
• Integrate into the group’s shared 24-hour hospital call rotation (shared daily, not week-long stretches)
• Provide care primarily at RGH with possible rotation to Unity Hospital
Qualifications
• Active NY license in hand required
• Epic experience required
• AHA or RQI certifications
• Experienced providers preferred; new fellows considered
