Location: Bellingham, Washington
Duration: 6-Month Assignment
Join an established gastroenterology team at a 253-bed acute care hospital providing both inpatient and outpatient GI services. This is an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist seeking a collaborative practice environment with a balanced mix of clinic, endoscopy, and hospital-based care.
Position Highlights
- 6-month locum tenens assignment
- Inpatient and outpatient practice
- Join an experienced team of Gastroenterologists
- 253-bed acute care hospital
- Shared 24-hour weekday and weekend call
- Adult patient population (18+)
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinic (approximately 16 patients per day)
- Endoscopy center procedures (14–16 patients per day)
- Inpatient consults, rounding, and admissions
- Perform a full range of gastroenterology procedures
- ERCP required
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Washington medical license preferred (IMLC accepted)
- Current ACLS certification
- Recent GI clinical experience within the past 24 months
- Minimum of 50 ERCP procedures performed within the last two years
Preferred Experience
- Epic EMR
- Provation GI software
