About the Position
A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to establish and lead a new Gastroenterology practice in Northwest Ohio. This opportunity offers strong built-in patient demand, excellent procedural volume, collaborative specialty support, and the ability to shape a practice from the ground up.
Position Highlights
• Opportunity to build and develop a new Gastroenterology practice
• Strong existing patient demand and referral base
• Full spectrum Gastroenterology practice with comprehensive procedural capabilities
• Collaborative, team-based care model with strong surgical support
• Established specialty team includes:
• 4 General Surgeons
• 1 Proctologist
• 1 Wound Care Nurse Practitioner
• Opportunity to create and grow a long-term regional GI program
Practice Details
• Outpatient volume of approximately 20 patients per day
• Procedural volume of 8–10 procedures per day
• Inpatient consults based on hospital census and patient needs
• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Shared call schedule of 1:3
• Additional compensation available for extra call coverage
