We are seeking a Gastroenterology physician for a full-time locum tenens position in Kingsport, TN. This opportunity provides comprehensive gastrointestinal care including ERCP and diagnostic endoscopy with 24-hour call coverage across affiliated regional hospital facilities. Job Responsibilities
Perform ERCP for diagnostic and therapeutic indications
Perform diagnostic upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies
Obtain gastrointestinal biopsies as indicated
Manage inpatient rounding and consultations
Provide 24-hour endoscopy suite coverage across multiple hospital locations
Manage adult and pediatric gastrointestinal patients
Qualifications
Tennessee State License or IMLC (required before confirming dates)
Tennessee DEA
ACLS and BLS
EPIC experience
Working Hours
Onsite approximately 8-10 hours per day
Monday-Friday plus weekend call
Night call: beeper coverage
Weekend: 24-hour call
