- Additional Info: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide outpatient GI and Hepatology care at UHealth Doral and/or Solé Miá in North Miami (9 half days weekly) - Perform outpatient endoscopic and GI screening procedures - Maintain outpatient clinic and endoscopy services at UHealth Doral/Solé Miá - Participate in rotating night/weekend call coverage at UHT and JMH - Rotate on inpatient GI services proportionate to other providers QUALIFICATIONS: - MD with completion of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and GI fellowship - BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology/Hepatology - Florida medical license (or eligibility prior to credentialing) - Valid DEA license and current BLS/ACLS certification required - Ability to provide recent procedural case logs for credentialing KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: - Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide high-quality patient care - Must maintain CME and institutional/state licensing requirements - Timely documentation and encounter closure within 72
