Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens spot coverage position in Kingsport, TN. This opportunity covers two facilities each week with weekday onsite coverage and weekend call. Please see below for more information.
- Trauma Level III/IV (Adult)
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Onsite approximately 8–10 hours per day
Perform ERCP (no EUS required)
Average surgical volume: 5–6 procedures per day
Estimated procedure volume: ~7–8 procedures per day
Work in Endo Suite and Main OR/Endo Suite
May assist with rounding
Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Support staff: OR and in-house Endo nurses
Qualifications
Active Tennessee medical license (IMLC accepted)
TN DEA
Tennessee CSR (preferred)
ACLS
BLS
Working Hours
Monday–Friday schedule with weekend call coverage
Night call: beeper coverage
24-hour weekend call
