Job description
The Gastroenterology Service is seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive GI care across multiple settings, contribute to trainee education, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary care model.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases, including Hepatitis C.
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including EGD, PEG placement, and colonoscopy.
• Offer consultative services to the VA Medical Center and associated Community‑Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff within the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Report directly to the Chief of Gastroenterology.
Qualifications
• Holds a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in ANY U.S. State
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care and trainee education.
