Exciting ongoing locum opportunity for a Gastroenterology Physician in Pennsylvania starting June 2026. This role includes a mix of outpatient endoscopy procedures, inpatient rounding, consults, ED support, and call coverage. The ideal provider should be comfortable working independently in a hospital setting and managing general GI cases using EPIC EMR.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient rounding, consults, and ED support
• Handle inpatient and outpatient GI procedures
• Participate in weeknight beeper call and weekend 24-hour call coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with hospital staff to provide quality patient care
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ required to submit
• DEA certification required
• Ability to work independently in hospital settings
• Experience in General Gastroenterology preferred
Working Hours
• Inpatient Coverage: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM + weeknight beeper call (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Call: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Ongoing locums assignment with multiple open dates available
