Job description
Exciting locum opportunity for a Gastroenterology Physician in Pennsylvania offering a combination of outpatient procedures, inpatient rounding, consults, and call coverage. This ongoing assignment provides flexible scheduling, strong compensation, and the opportunity to work independently in both hospital and endoscopy center settings using EPIC EMR.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient rounding and emergency department consult support
• Handle inpatient and outpatient GI procedures
• Participate in 24-hour call and night call coverage
• Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ required
• DEA certification required
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
• Experience with General GI procedures preferred
Working Hours
• Endoscopy Center Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Additional inpatient rounding, procedures, consults, and call coverage
• Multiple flexible dates available from June–December 2026
