Job description
We are seeking GI locum coverage for an ongoing need averaging 1 week per month plus weekends.
Coverage Dates:
• 6/15
• 7/26
• 9/1
• 9/28
• 10/1
Schedule:
• 10-hour day shifts: 7a–5p
• Night call required
• Ongoing coverage need
Practice Setting:
• Hospital-based inpatient coverage
• Emergency procedures only
• No outpatient procedures
Work Details:
• Procedures and inpatient call coverage
• General GI procedures
• No ERCP
• No EUS
• Adult patients only (18+)
Patient Volume:
• Total census: 30–50 patients
• 9–16 new consults per day
Support:
• Anesthesiology onsite
• APP support for consults and follow-ups
Facility Details:
• 593-bed hospital
• EMR: Epic
Requirements:
• BC/BE Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred
Credentialing:
• Approximately 90 days
• Temporary privileges available with clean file
