Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
Perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on Mondays, Wednesdays, half-day Thursdays, and FridaysSee patients in the office on Tuesdays and half-day Thursdays
Take night call every night and round on any patient consults in the hospital
Expected patient encounters per shift: 20-25
Overtime calculated after 40 hours, not daily
Required procedures include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, and PEG placement
Esophageal dilatation/manometry and small bowel biopsy required
Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid preferred), and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required
Board certification eligible minimum required; board certified not mandatory
Fellowship training required
Locum Tenens assignment, ASAP start, ongoing need
