Assignment Details
Start Date: August 21, 2026
End Date: September 8, 2026
Schedule: August 21 (7:00 AM)–August 25 (7:00 AM) and September 4 (7:00 AM)–September 8 (7:00 AM)
Coverage Type: Call Only
Call: Beeper call, 30-minute response time
Setting: Inpatient
Patient Volume: Inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfer patients
Support: 1 APP (Monday-Friday)
EMR: Athena / Medhost
Credentialing: Approximately 10 days
Clinical Details
Inpatient GI consults and call coverage
Advanced endoscopy including EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, esophageal procedures, liver biopsy, and GI bleeding management required
ERCP and EUS preferred
Inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfer evaluations
Requirements
Board Certified Gastroenterology
Active TX license
ACLS
Active DEA
