Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
Locum Tenens assignment covering October 2, 7am through October 12, 7amWill see inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers
ERCP preferred
Board certification required at minimum certified level
ACLS certification required
Trauma Level 3 facility
Required procedural skills include: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices
ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) preferred
PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) required
Esophageal dilatation/manometry and esophageal manometry interpretation required
Small bowel biopsy required
Lower GI endoscopy including sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid) required
Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp required
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) preferred
Liver biopsy required
Insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube required
