We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum opportunity in York, PA. This role offers a mix of procedures + call coverage, with flexible scheduling including 7-day blocks and weekend coverage—ideal for physicians looking to maximize earnings with structured shifts.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide 24-hour call coverage including weekends
• Manage inpatient consults and GI cases
• Collaborate with anesthesiology and hospital staff
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania License (or willing to obtain)
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
Working Hours
• Weekend Call: Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM
• 7-Day Blocks: Monday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM
• Includes 24-hour call coverage
Skills
• Ability to manage inpatient GI cases
• Comfortable with call and high-acuity environments
• Note: No ERCP or EUS required
