We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum opportunity in York, PA. This role offers flexible 7-day block scheduling and weekend call coverage, ideal for providers looking for structured, high-impact assignments.
The position includes a mix of procedures, inpatient care, and call coverage in a well-supported hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient consults and manage hospital patients
• Handle 24-hour call coverage during assigned blocks
• Work closely with anesthesiology and support teams
• Manage adult patient population (18+)
• Perform general GI procedures (no ERCP or EUS required)
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania license required (or willing to obtain)
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic experience preferred
Working Hours
• Schedule Options:
o 7-day block: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
o Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Daily Schedule:
o 10-hour shifts
o OR starts at 7:30 AM
• Coverage Needed:
o ~1 week per month + weekends
