Gastroenterology Opportunity in Portsmouth, OH
A leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and high-volume GI practice. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering exceptional compensation and an outstanding work-life balance with no call responsibilities.
Practice Details
Full-time employed Gastroenterology position
Established GI program with 5 physicians and APP support
Ready-made practice with strong referral base
Four-day work week
No call and no weekend responsibilities
Seven weeks of time off
EPIC EMR system
Clinical Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of GI procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, EUS, and ERCP
Provide both diagnostic and interventional endoscopic services
Manage a diverse patient population with gastrointestinal conditions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers
Maintain accurate documentation and patient care plans
Support & Resources
Large referral network across 20 regional hospitals
Service area of approximately 750,000 patients
Experienced advanced practice provider support
Access to advanced endoscopic technology
Strong primary care referral pipeline

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
