Gastroenterology Opportunity in Ashland, KY
A leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and high-volume GI practice. Practice Details
Full-time employed Gastroenterology position
Established team of 6 Gastroenterologists with APP support
High-volume practice with strong referral base
Academic opportunities available
Flexible schedule with manageable call
Seven weeks of time off
EPIC EMR system
New stand-alone endoscopy center under development
Clinical Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of GI procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, EUS, and ERCP
Provide both diagnostic and interventional endoscopic services
Manage a diverse patient population with gastrointestinal conditions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers
Maintain accurate documentation and patient care plans
Support & Resources
Large referral network across 20 regional hospitals
Service area of approximately 750,000 patients
Experienced advanced practice provider support
Access to advanced endoscopic technology and facilities
Strong primary care referral pipeline

$730,000 salary guarantee plus wRVU productivity
$100,000 sign-on bonus

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
