Job description
Position: Gastroenterology Weekend Coverage – Mountain Home, AR
Schedule:
- 24-hour weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
- One weekend per month
- Some inpatient rounding required
- Start Date: 05/04/2026
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient hospital, Level III/IV adult trauma center
- Facility: 200+ beds
- EMR: Epic (Cerner also used)
- Patient Population: Adolescents and adults
- Cases: Endoscopies, GI bleeds, GI evaluations
- Support Staff: RN
Requirements:
- Arkansas medical license required; must be local
- DEA registration required
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (exemptions allowed)
Rate: $3,000/day (Friday–Monday coverage)
