Join a healthcare network in Plattsburgh, NY as a Gastroenterologist. This role involves providing both outpatient and inpatient care with a supportive team.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to following Friday, approximately 12 days every 5 weeks
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 4 PM
- Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Mix of outpatient endoscopy and inpatient consult service
- Inpatient cases from 7:30 AM to 9 AM
- Performing average of 6 colonoscopies per day
- Managing general GI conditions
- Capsule endoscopy interpretation
Qualifications:
- Experience in the field
- Gastroenterology fellowship
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Proficiency in endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR system
- Management of inflammatory bowel disease
- Strong communication skills
- Professionalism
- Ability to work collaboratively with NPs
