General Gastroenterology (with ERCP) Opportunity in North Texas

Methodist Medical Group (MMG) a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible, General Gastroenterology Physician to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled surgeon who is passionate about providing care for GI conditions and will specialize in diagnosis and treatment, including both operative and non-operative care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including ERCPs, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy
  • Manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, GERD
  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with the latest advancements in gastroenterology



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Current and unrestricted Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program
  • Experience with a variety of endoscopic procedures
  • Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
