What You Need:

MD/DO and completion of Gastroenterology fellowship

Board Eligible / Board Certified in Gastroenterology

ERCP experience required; interest in Hepatology preferred

Active or eligible Indiana medical license

Strong communication skills and commitment to patient satisfaction

Desire to build long-term patient and community relationships
Schedule & Practice Details (Condensed):
-
Office: Monday"Friday, 8:00 a.m."4:30 p.m.

Mix of clinic and procedures: 3"4 half days clinic, 3"4 half days surgery, 1 full day off

Call: 1:5, one full week (Fri"Fri), no clinic during call week; rotating holidays

Average volumes: 12"15 patients per half-day clinic; 8"10 cases per half-day surgery

Multiple RNs (shared), dedicated MA per physician, 2 in-house surgery schedulers

Outreach clinics in LaPorte, Chesterton, Valparaiso (all within ~30 minutes)

Potential virtual visits

Hospital-based NP for new consults/rounding; clinic NP support

Strong mentorship from senior GI leadership
-
Robust referral base: ~75"100 general GI referrals per week

In-network oncology services with full wraparound support

Onsite equipment: BRAVO, PillCam, FibroScan; HD Motility and EndoFlip at Surgicenter

Advanced endoscopist in group providing EUS and advanced pancreaticobiliary work
