Facility:
This established hospital is part of a comprehensive healthcare network providing specialized gastroenterology services to the community. The facility features dedicated support staff with 3 inpatient APPs specifically assigned to GI services, who assist in endoscopy procedures and provide coverage on floors and in the ED.
Opportunity:
Physician - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology services with 24-hour call coverage
• Handle 10-20 patients per day with approximately 10 admissions per night
• Perform ERCP procedures - this is a required skill
• Conduct bread and butter endoscopy procedures
• Provide ED consultation services and inpatient rounding
• Spend approximately 6-8 hours per day in hospital setting
• Work 14 days per month on a 7 on/7 off schedule
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Kentucky license highly preferred, will consider IMLC
• ACLS and DEA certification required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Must have availability at time of name clearance
• Epic EMR system experience
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
