Rates: 24-hour call is $4,000 with 4-Hour gratis

Call back after 24 hours is $475 an hour

Orientation $150 an hour

Holiday rates 1.5x

Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: ASAP (ongoing until a permanent replacement is hired).

• Schedule: 14 days per month (7 on/7 off rotation).

  • Note: Availability for the March 17–23 block is mandatory for consideration.

• Shift Type: 24-hour call (Inpatient coverage, rounding, and emergency consults).

• On-site Presence: Approximately 6–8 hours per day spent in the hospital.

• Support Staff: 3 dedicated inpatient APPs assist in endoscopy, the ED, and on the floors.

• EMR: Epic.

Clinical Scope & Volume

The locum provider will manage acute gastrointestinal needs for a diverse adult patient population.

• Daily Census: 10–20 patients per day.

• Admissions: Average of 10 admissions per night.

• Required Procedures: * ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) is mandatory.

  • General endoscopy and "bread and butter" GI procedures.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.

• Licensure: Active Kentucky (KY) License is highly preferred; IMLC candidates will be considered.

• Certifications: Active ACLS and DEA are required.

• Background: A clean record is required for expedited privileging.

• Compliance: ERCP proficiency is a dealbreaker. Please confirm this in your submission.

• Documentation: Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory.
