An established, nationally recognized health system in southeastern New Jersey is seeking an experienced, board-certified Gastroenterologist to serve as Chief of Gastroenterology. This is a high-impact physician leadership role focused on building and leading a premier academic GI division aligned with a long-term transformational growth strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Expand advanced GI services including complex endoscopy, inpatient and outpatient GI care
Recruit, mentor, and inspire GI hospitalists, faculty, fellows, and multidisciplinary staff
Provide hands-on clinical leadership managing complex GI cases
Collaborate across specialties, including oncology and advanced subspecialty services
Ensure strong referral pipelines and protected endoscopic block time
Promote research, education, and workforce development initiatives
Improve access to care and address disparities within underserved communities
Qualifications

Monday- Friday
Skills
Performs EGD, colonoscopy, and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
Interprets imaging, labs, and pathology results.
Manages acute and chronic GI conditions.
Collaborates effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
