Rare opportunity for a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist seeking a true outpatient-only practice in beautiful New Windsor, NY 12553. Enjoy practicing high-quality GI care in a physician-led, collegial multispecialty environment with no inpatient responsibilities and no hospital call.
Design a schedule that fits your lifestyle while working in a modern ambulatory endoscopy center with strong referral support and an established patient base. This role offers excellent autonomy, collaborative peers, and long-term partnership potential.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Diagnose and manage GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, hepatitis, pancreatitis, and other GI disorders
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty physicians for coordinated care
• Maintain high-quality documentation and patient-centered treatment plans
• Participate in shared coverage with GI colleagues
Qualifications
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active New York medical license
• Current DEA license
• Minimum 5 years of GI practice experience preferred
• Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
