Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

Join a busy acute care hospital where you'll perform a mix of endoscopy procedures and consultations. The practice accommodates approximately 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes per day. This role demands proficiency in endoscopic coverage and the ability to handle diverse gastroenterological cases. You'll work alongside a skilled team of two physicians and two APPs, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Schedule and Assignment Details

The schedule offers a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, allowing for a balanced lifestyle. Expect to work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with no night call responsibilities. Weekend call involves 24-hour coverage on Saturdays and Sundays, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment. The assignment offers stability with ongoing coverage needs, and the start date is flexible to accommodate your availability.

Support and Work Environment

You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive work environment, with access to comprehensive onsite services, including lab and X-ray facilities. The hospital is equipped with a modern EMR system (Cerner), facilitating efficient patient management. Qualifications

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Board Eligible candidates will be considered).
• Possession of an active Michigan medical license and controlled substance registration (CSR) at the time of submission.
• Current ACLS certification is required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience post-fellowship in a gastroenterology setting.
• COVID-19 vaccination and compliance with other required immunizations.
• Clean professional background with no significant actions.
