This medical center is part of a respected healthcare system providing comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility features modern amenities including lab and X-ray services onsite with Epic EMR system, ensuring smooth clinical operations and excellent patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Coverage needed due to lack of providers - multiple dates available starting STAT if possible • Hospital call coverage in adult gastroenterology setting • Practice includes hospital, office/clinic environments • Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine required • Perform various procedures including Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry and interpretation • Conduct Small Bowel Biopsy and Lower GI Endoscopy • Perform Sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy procedures • Conduct Liver Biopsy and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube • Experience with Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) preferred • Perform Upper GI Endoscopy with various techniques (biopsy, foreign body removal, etc.) • ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) experience required • Perform PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) procedures • Average of 8 procedures per week including GSI, Hepatology, RGA, Surgery, Colon, EGD, ERCP • Must be Board Certified with active VA license • Flu shot required, COVID vaccine highly preferred • Clean malpractice history required for temporary privileges • ERCP skills required, EUS preferred • 24-hour on-call coverage responsibilities • NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) mandatory at presentation

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
