This facility is a prominent hospital in Oklahoma City with 239 beds, offering comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The hospital features an established regional advanced endoscopy program with full-spectrum advanced endoscopic services, supporting medical professionals with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team environment.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Immediate coverage need for an Interventional Gastroenterologist • Position requires completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited fellowship in Gastroenterology with ERCP training • Must have demonstrated current competence with at least 200 therapeutic ERCP procedures, 40 sphincterotomies, and 10 stent placements in past 12 months • Case logs from ProVation or similar GI system required for both ECU and ERCP from past 12 months • In-house call with 12-hour shifts (8A-8P) plus 12 hours on-call (8P-8A) • Need for 1-2 weeks per month commitment (preference for minimum 2 weeks/month) • Average 15-20 patients per day plus 5 procedures • Average 0-10 calls during on-call hours (7P-7A) • Average 1-3 callbacks overnight per week • Requires skills in upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices • Must be proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP • Experience with PEG, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and liver biopsy required • Board certification eligible minimum requirement • ACLS certification required • Oklahoma license or IMLC required • 60-day credentialing timeframe expected
