Required Skills:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology
- Valid and current medical license in Michigan or eligible for licensure
- Proven proficiency in ERCP procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Prior locum tenens or hospital-based gastroenterology experience
- Excellent teamwork and adaptability skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program
- Minimum of 2 years post-fellowship clinical experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to cover specific scheduled dates beginning March 1, 2026
- Weekend and holiday call availability
- Ability to comply with hospital policies and state regulations
- No travel or lodging arrangements are provided; expenses are covered according to policy
