Required Skills:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Gastroenterology
- Valid medical license to practice in Michigan
- Proven experience performing ERCP procedures
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in hospital and outpatient clinic settings
- Additional procedural expertise beyond ERCP
- Prior locum or temporary physician experience
- Knowledge of the local healthcare landscape
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctorate degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency practice in Gastroenterology
- Prior experience with hospital-based endoscopic procedures
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on March 1, 2026
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 7am-4:30pm, with 24-hour weekend call (no weekday night call)
- Must clock in/out using DocTime; no paper timesheets
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting
- Travel and licensure reimbursements may be available per company policy
