We’re excited to offer a Locums Gastroenterology opportunity for two skilled physicians who want to join a highly accomplished, well-established Endoscopy Unit. This assignment is ideal for a GI specialist who values teamwork, high-quality patient care, and a smooth, well-organized clinical environment.
This role offers full travel and lodging support, a warm and collaborative team, and the chance to work with state-of-the-art GI technology.
Job Responsibilities
You’ll work in a modern, high‑performing Endoscopy Unit with four procedure rooms and a strong support team. Procedures include:
Core GI Procedures
EGD
Colonoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy
pH studies
Manometry
PEG / PEG‑J tube placement
Qualifications
Type: Locums
Licensure: Active MI license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Experience: Minimum 1 year
Start: ASAP after credentialing (March orientation available)
Duration: Ongoing
Coverage: Full block coverage only (no partial availability)
Working Hours
3/25 – Orientation
3/26 (7a) – 3/30 (7a)
4/16 (7a) – 4/20 (7a)
6/12 (7a) – 6/15 (7a)
12/11 (7a) – 12/14 (7a)
Monday–Friday: 9‑hour shift (1‑hour lunch, 8 hours billable)
Weeknight Call: 15‑hour overnight call
Weekend Call: 24‑hour call
Inpatient: Minimal
Procedures: Up to 12 per day
Average Daily Volume: ~12 patients
