Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
As a Gastroenterologist in this established regional medical center, you will focus on both ambulatory and inpatient care. The practice emphasizes endoscopy procedures, with a particular focus on ERCP and EUS. You will be joining a team that is well-trained and experienced in efficiently moving patients through endoscopy care, supported by a new ambulatory endoscopy surgery center. The proximity of the GI clinic to the hospital—less than half a mile—ensures seamless integration and continuity of care.
Schedule and Assignment Details
This full-time position offers a predictable schedule with daytime shifts complemented by on-call responsibilities. Call coverage is shared on a 1:3 basis, supported by hospitalists and two colorectal surgeons within the community. This structure allows for a balanced workload and the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients. While the exact start date and duration are flexible, the need is immediate, offering you the chance to make an immediate impact.

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Michigan medical license or in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to specialize in ERCP and EUS is required.
- DEA and CSR/CDS required prior to start.
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (active within 30 days) required for presentation.
