This opportunity offers long-term stability, an equal partnership model, and an outstanding quality of life in a scenic, affordable region with easy access to major metropolitan areas.

Practice Highlights

  • Physician-owned group with a true equal partnership model (not “eat what you kill”)
  • Partnership opportunity with shared workload and revenue
  • Partner earnings up to $600,000
  • 13 weeks off annually starting in Year Two
  • Collegial, team-oriented culture where no physician practices in isolation
  • Strong referral base, excellent community reputation, and steady patient volume
  • Supportive leadership with an emphasis on long-term physician satisfaction

Culture

This practice is built on genuine teamwork. Partners collaborate, share responsibilities equitably, and support one another in both clinical and operational decisions. The environment is collegial and physician-centered, with a strong sense of community trust, consistent patient demand, and a culture focused on delivering high-quality care without burnout.

Location

Located in southwestern Pennsylvania, the practice serves a safe, family-friendly community in a scenic, affordable region with excellent schools and abundant outdoor recreation. The area offers small-town charm while remaining conveniently connected:

  • Approximately 20 miles from Morgantown, West Virginia
  • Under one hour from Pittsburgh
  • Many physicians choose to live in Pittsburgh or its eastern suburbs, making commuting a viable and attractive option

The region offers access to hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities, along with the amenities of nearby metropolitan areas.

Requirements

General Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Eligible for or currently holding unrestricted medical licensure in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA registration and controlled substance license (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to obtain privileges at affiliated facilities
  • Strong clinical skills in general gastroenterology; subspecialty interests welcomed
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills
  • Interest in long-term partnership within a physician-led group
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, equal-partnership practice environment

Work–Life Balance & Physician Support

This organization is built around a physician-first philosophy designed to protect work–life balance while maintaining exceptional patient care:

  • Great compensation with reduced hospital time
  • Generous time off and sustainable schedules
  • Physician autonomy to make independent clinical and operational decisions
  • Flexible provider scheduling, controlled by the practices
  • A dedicated business management department that handles billing, compliance, staffing, and administrative operations—allowing physicians to focus on patients rather than paperwork
