Location: Spokane, WA – Eastern Washington Region
Coverage Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Assignment/Call Details:
* Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours with call
* Practice Setting: Inpatient & outpatient
*Patients per Shift: ~12
* Admissions Required: No
* Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
* Call Type: Beeper
* Call Response Time: 20 minutes
* Call Ratio / Call Back %: TBD
* Support Staff: 2 RNs, 4 MAs, 10 office staff (APP support TBD)
* Privileges Required: Yes
* Temporary Privileges: Not available
* EMR: Epic
* Trauma Level: 2
* Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
Clinical Details:
* Full-spectrum gastroenterology with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
* Endoscopy suite with strong nursing and office support

Skills Required:
* Upper GI endoscopy: Biopsy, Foreign body removal, Fulguration of bleeders (cautery or laser) and Diagnostic ERCP
* Esophageal manometry interpretation
* Small bowel biopsy
* Lower GI endoscopy
* Sigmoidoscopy
* Colonoscopy: Biopsy and Polyp excision

Requirements:
* Board Certified in Gastroenterology
* Active medical license
* ACLS and BLS certifications
* Clean malpractice and background history
* No APP supervision required
* No resident or teaching duties
