The hospital is a Level 2 trauma center with additional practice opportunities at an affiliated medical center, offering physicians a diverse and rewarding practice environment.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
• Permanent position with approximately 12 patient encounters per shift
• Practice at multiple facilities including the main hospital and an affiliated medical center
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder capabilities
• Conduct diagnostic ERCP procedures
• Interpret esophageal manometry studies
• Perform small bowel biopsies
• Conduct lower GI endoscopy including sigmoidoscopy
• Perform colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Fellowship training required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• Position available ASAP with ongoing need
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
