Shifts available: 24 Hour Call (MD/DO), Orientation (MD/DO), Day Shift (MD/DO), Night Call (MD/DO) (total shifts needed 12)

In-House Gastroenterology Hospitalist to help starting late March/ early April 2026
Heavy Call burden, so the facility needs help from locums.
The provider will need to help with call coverage at both Butterworth and Blodgett but would only be assigned to work at one location at a time.
Schedule: Mon-Sun 8a-5p, with 2-3 overnight calls during the week
Weekend would be a Saturday and Sunday, ending Monday at 8am.
7 on/7off is an option
Scenarios/Schedule options:
• 1 - M-F with 2-3 nights of call
• 2 -M-F 8a-5p, with 24/7 weekend call
• 3 -24/7full week call
***ERCP is highly preferred but not required***
Pager starts at 8am, but in hospital 8a-5p
Night call 5p-8a (call)
1 provider at Butterworth
1 provider at Blodgett
Locums would cover call at both, but only work at 1. (need privs at both)
Patient volume:
-Inpatient: 20-30 (up to 40, but have 3 app's rounding to help, MD doesn't see them all.
-2-10 procedures per day for MD, then help with APPs (3 APP's at each hospital, so 6 total)
Procedures. Required just basic stuff. ERCP Is highly preferred.
Dedicated anesthesia support already.
Mon-Sun schedule is the current set up, but they can be flexible
Interviews: Preferred to be set up for Mondays or Thursday, so please include some dates/times a provider is available for a call those days.
