ACADEMIC GI HOSPITALIST - 1 week on, 1 week off. Fellow Support. $30k Sign On Bonus, $100k Loan Repayment & Fellowship Stipend Potential

In partnership with the University of Arizona, Banner University Medical Center Tucson has an outstanding opportunity for a BE/BC Gastroenterology Hospitalist. Join the established Division of Gastroenterology at top rated teaching hospital, under the newly formed Banner Digestive Health Service Line.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive, integrated digestive health care across the spectrum of patient needs and serve as destination quaternary care provider. This includes:

· Ambulatory GI & GI Hospitalist services

· Inflammatory Bowel Disease

· Motility

· Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction

· Weight Loss & Endometabolics, Endobariatrics and Bariatrics integration

· Complex Foregut care

· Multidisciplinary care for GI oncology

· Subspecialized surgical services

· Clinical trials

· Only Comprehensive Cancer Center in the state of Arizona

Our mission is to develop the leading digestive health service line in the nation with quality, connectivity, state of the art clinical care, and research across the Banner Health Network.

PRACTICE & COMPENSATION DETAILS

· 7 on 7 off schedule with GI Fellow support (or 2 weeks on 2 weeks off where available)

• Total 182 shifts; excess shift compensation available
• General GI inpatient only work
• No ERCP/EUS - Supported by Interventional Endoscopy Services (including interventional call)
• Outpatient Subspecialists support the following: IBD, Motility, Hepatology, Interventional GI and DGBI
• Outpatient APP recover clinic which helps triage post hospital visits within 1-2 weeks to ensure seamless follow up post hospitalization

· Base Salary: $591K-$641K, based on faculty rank

· Value Comp Potential: up to $25K/year in addition to base salary

· $30k Sign-on Bonus

· Collaborative network of primary care referrals across Tucson and Southern Arizona area

· Experienced providers and new grads encouraged to apply

· Graduating Fellow? $1500/monthly stipend while you finish your training when you sign early!

· Up to $100k Loan Repayment for Qualifying Fellows
