CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial Lufkin in East Texas is seeking a Gastroenterologist with ERCP capability for a high-impact inpatient-only locum assignment. This is a true hospital-based role: no clinic, no outpatient, just comprehensive GI consults, rounds, and procedures driven from in-house and ER consults.

🏥 Practice Setting

Typical caseload: Up to ~10 inpatients/day + procedures

Case types: GI bleeds, abdominal pain, SBO, food bolus, ulcers, gastritis, carcinoma diagnosis (no treatment)

Standard GI procedures (EGD, colonoscopy)

ERCP – Required

EUS – Not required

Conscious sedation preferred; anesthesia backup available

Supported by GI-trained endoscopy nursing staff

Board Certification in Gastroenterology – Highly Preferred (BE accepted)

Active TX License – We will help with IMLC Licensure !
