What You’ll Need:
- Valid medical license in Colorado or IMLC-compliant license
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Proven experience with ERCP, EUS, and advanced endoscopic procedures
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Strong clinical skills in evaluating and managing GI problems
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-acuity environment
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma or acute care setting
- Experience with inpatient consults and GI procedures
- Familiarity with hospital trauma protocols and support staff coordination
- Additional certifications in advanced GI procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- At least 3 years of recent gastroenterology practice
- Prior locum or temporary physician experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability to cover 5-7 days per month, starting December 8, 2025, ongoing into 2025
- All shifts are 24 hours, from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., including on-call and holiday coverage
- Willingness to stay at designated hotel locations and adhere to travel preferences
- Completed credentialing process, including pre-application, full application, and EMR training modules before first day
- Ability to work independently with no support staff
- Must complete EMR modules and training at least one week prior to initial shift
Compensation:
- Hourly pay rate: Competitive (rate to be discussed during application process)
- Orientation: $262.50 (half the hourly rate) after 8 hours
- On Call (Daily): Up to $5,200 per 24 hours, including 8 hours gratis
- 24-Hour Holiday Call Rate: Up to $7,800, including 8 hours gratis
- Call Back: Up to $525 per hour of patient contact
- Holiday Call Back: Up to $787.50 per hour
