This is a well-established medical center offering comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The facility features modern equipment, full OR support staff, and utilizes Epic EMR system for streamlined patient care management.

Board Certified - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
• Locum Gastroenterology position with specific coverage dates in 2026 (February through July) • Monday-Friday schedule, 8-hour days with 30-minute lunch • Inpatient cases required with day call (7am-4pm) • Respond to calls from Emergency Room or Hospitalists for questions and possible urgent procedures • Perform endoscopy procedures in the OR and clinic work one day per week • Manage 14-16 patients per day in clinic setting • No weekend work or overnight call required • Full staff support in the OR with both CRNA and Anesthesiologist available • Required procedures include: Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy • Upper GI endoscopy procedures required: Diagnostic, with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Banding of Varices • Advanced therapeutic procedures preferred but not required • ERCP not required • Onsite lab and x-ray services available • Must have active Maine license or active IMLC LOQ (highly preferred) • ACLS and BLS certifications required • COVID and flu vaccines required • Institutional ADR of 35% or greater highly preferred • Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
