Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist – 3-Week Coverage (2026)
Location: Indiana
Schedule: Three one-week blocks in 2026 (March 30–April 6, May 4–11, June 22–29)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to provide short-term coverage at our facility in Indiana. The provider will perform a range of general GI services, including endoscopy and colonoscopy, as well as diagnostic and screening procedures such as pillcam capsule endoscopy, CT colonography, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
Schedule & Compensation

Monday–Friday: 8-hour days + night call (paid)

Saturday–Sunday: 24-hour call

Orientation: In-person, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (preferably the Friday before start date or within two weeks prior)

Anesthesia: Available for inpatient cases based on anesthesiologist availability
Requirements

Active Indiana medical license or IMLC eligibility

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Minimum 2 years of GI experience

ACLS and BLS (AHA issued)

Flu and COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption)

Must complete own clinical orders and documentation
