Overview

Exciting Locum-to-Perm Gastroenterology opportunity at a well-established hospital in Des Moines, IA. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage with strong long-term potential.

Practice Highlights

• Hospital-based coverage

• ERCP required; EUS highly preferred

• Perform 3–4 outpatient procedures per day, along with inpatient procedures and consults

• Adult-only practice

• EMR: Cerner

• Application/credentialing fees are not reimbursed

• All providers must sign an attestation form confirming interest in permanent placement
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Must be interested in Locum-to-Perm

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency) – Required

• Active IA License or IMLC – Required

• ACLS – Required

• Inpatient coverage experience – Required

• ERCP – Required

• EUS – Highly Preferred

• COVID Vaccine – Required

• Clean malpractice/background – Required
  
  

Schedule & Coverage

• Start: October 2025 – ongoing

• 24-hour call coverage (7a–7a)

• Orientation and call-back included

• Holiday pay at 1.5x rate
